Campaign Title: Muslim Children in America
Audience: Male and Female 25 - 45
Tag line: My Islamic Childhood ..
My Islamic Life ..
I Play, I Study, I pray ..
The objective:
Our objective is to give
Muslim children in America from the age of 8-12 the opportunity to display
their daily life and routine. This project is going to target Muslim and
non-Muslim audience. Many Muslim children are provided with a normal life and
their religion does not forbid them of achieving their goals and practicing
their religion at the same time. The reason we chose to do this topic for our
project is to explain to the non-Muslim audience how Muslim children have a
normal life. The problem is many people believe that Muslims in general and
children to be specific have rules and guidelines that they must obey to be a
faithful Muslim, but in reality a Muslim child has no limit to achieve her/his
goal.
In depth:
Our project will help many
people to understand that Muslim children practice a normal daily routine that
also includes their religion. We will be working with The Islamic Saudi Academy of Washington, which is located in the heart
of the world’s most controversial and political area. Many Muslim children
practice athletic sports within the school and have fun and joyful art shows
and charity fairs that meet their religion guidelines. Our message in
displaying the children daily life is to send a positive outcome to the
non-Muslim American society how Islam fits their daily routine where ever they
live.
The process:
We will be choosing five
Muslim students to display their daily life routine in recording videos and
taking photos on how Islam merges in their life. Each child will have his/her
own documentary of one day. We will be asking them to practice their normal daily
life for showing how they are indifferent from any non-Muslim child. After
documenting the children daily life we will ask them if they believe that Islam
impediment their daily life.
Solution:
Is to create a web site that
is based on videos that are the focal point of the project where each
child displays his/her documentary. Photos will show the process of
creating the documentary.
